Softball South Australia E-News - August 2006

The new templates work really well as newsletter templates. I don't think we need to do anything different for Email templates. Perhaps the national site we might do an email template with the width set at 650 ish. However, for all the other sites, the standard template looks just fine.

I have added an extra checkbox on the setup for the Newsletter. There is a checkbox "Include Standard Text". If this checked then the format newsletter puts in some additional text for the newsletter at the top and bottom. e.g. Click here if not formatted correctly, and at the end it puts in the "unsubscribe" link. I'm not sure of the exact wording from the legislation, but we should do some digging to get this correct.

I've also changed the setup so that the Javascript menus aren't included as they don't work in all email clients.

Aussies off to cement place in 2008 Olympic Games
The Australian Women’s softball team, Aussie Spirit, will set off at the end of August to take on the world in the International Softball Federation’s (ISF) XI Women’s World Championship in Beijing, China.

History of Softball

About the Game
